How To Join A Link Party Without A Blog

Joining a link party without a blog is possible, but takes a few steps. Please decide whether you want to link up using Google Drive or Dropbox first and then follow the applicable directions below. If you have any difficulty, send us an email and we will try to help you troubleshoot.

Google Drive Method
1.   Create a word document with at least one image and any applicable text. You need to include all images and text on one page.
2.   Save as a .pdf document.
3.   Go to http://www.zamzar.com. Follow steps 1-4 on Zamzar. Make sure to choose “jpg” in step 2.
4.   Go to your email and click on the link to download your file from Zamzar. Save the downloaded file to your desktop.
5.   Log into your Google Drive account. Upload your newly converted .jpg document from Zamzar.
6.   Open your uploaded document.
7.   Click “share” in the top right corner. Make sure it is set to “public”. It will not work if you don’t set it to public!
8.   Copy the link to share.
9.   Come back to the Link Party and enter your copied link into the link party widget.
10. Congratulations! You’ve joined the party!

Dropbox Method
5.   Log into your Dropbox account. Upload your newly converted .jpg document to Dropbox.
6.   Click to open your document. Click on the link symbol at the bottom right side of the page.
7.   A small box will pop up asking you to either share via email (and Facebook, etc.) or “get link”. If you’ve never shared a Dropbox document before it may force you to first confirm your desire via email. Once you’ve confirmed, you’ll never have to do that again.
8.   Click “get link”. The link is automatically copied to your clipboard.
9.   Jump back over to the Dynamic Duo, click the link widget and paste your link.
10. Congratulations! You’ve joined the party!
